July Release: The July Release will launch July 2nd.
The July Release is focused on kicking off Action Center related functionality specifically linking Action Alerts and Action Center within our Blast Email Wizard to make sending alert much more efficient and eliminating the need for the user to hunt down and modify links. We will also be enhancing VIQ Email capabilities to include email templates. July release will support advanced user controls relating to CAPTCHA and Unsubscribe utility. In the July release you will find support for Political Committee and Disbursement Import. We also released several client requested reports. Also – we are standardizing our MICR Printing capability. We have sought to enhance load times of 360. We have added Hover Text to political committee to make it easier to see committee disbursement activity.
August Release is scheduled to go live August 21st which is a bit later than normal as there is an FEC filing due August 20th and we do not have planned software releases immediately prior to a filing day.
The primary goal for this release is establishing a stable and effective technical foundation for Action Center 3.0. We are currently doing the UI/UX client interviews to guide our overall client experience
PCS Check Request Service –Facilitate and speed deployment for new PCS clients. New deployment will no longer require a new build to setup the service.
Affiliated Committee Limit Checking- Provide support for corporations that may have multiple federal PACs giving to a specific committee. This feature will support two or more affiliated PACs and enforce a common limit. This enhancement applies only for disbursements though we are trying to work in a receipt enhancement in forth-coming Sprints. Any corporation with two affiliated PACs should benefit from this enhancement.
NAR Enhancement: Custom Check Request Page: Based on FA, state association should only see specific contribution types. Confirmation email now includes name of user who is logged into the check request page.
Webform – Provide Explanatory text for Total Payment and Multiple Payment- The Total Payment and Multiple Payment options on Webforms now includes clarifying text to help user understand the implication of the option selected for greater clarity.
Optimize Load Times on Panels – Upon visiting a Legislator, Individual and Committee pages activity will build server and browser cache that will provide faster performance on subsequent visits.
Political Committees and Disbursement Imports – To facilitate loading state level political committees as well as disbursements that standard import wizard. We recommend all Federal committees continue to leverage the COSMOS tool. The tool will provide the other to add non-existing committees as well as ignore non-existing committees. Matching will support the following options: Committee Name and Primary Address state or Source ID or Registration ID.
VIQ Email Enhancement - Support Email Templates – Provide template support to VIQ
CAPTCHA –Enable / Disable CAPTCHA - We have created a DB settings where Admin User can set CAPTCHA may be set On or OFF for all webforms or enforced for selected webforms. A confirmation message will be displayed alerting user to impact of their desired settings. If settings reflects selected webforms the user will be able to apply desired state based on Confirm Options page. The default setting will be set to on by default.
Unsubscribe – Turn on or off Unsubscribe option - Based on corporate PACs desire to prevent users from unsubscribing from internal communication we have set an option within Database Settings called Unsubscribe Manager. This permits the Unsubscribe Manager from being enforced. Unsubscribe is set to ON by default. When turned off a message is displayed warning that Aristotle may, if alerted to abuse, turn on the enforcement. When turned off emails will no longer provide unsubscribe option to recipients.

Email Wizard –Support Action Center and Action Alert Links – Support sending out Action Alert/Action Center Links using Blast Email Wizard. These links are now supported within the Blast Email Wizard to ease the ability of user to find actionable links within the blast email. When the “Earth – Paper Clip” icon is selected a new UI is presented that provides an option for Action Center and Action Alert. When Action Alert is selected a drop down box is displayed showing available Alerts. Also we have included click through tracking and Enable Auto login where users credentials are passed to automatically recognize individual. Similar support is provided for webforms.
Add Hover Text to Political Committee – Added Hover Text to provide details on giving to specific committees. Provides additional details when displaying Legislator results and displaying linked committee column as it will show which committees (linked to legislator) that make up YTD giving.
Fly In - Create Handout Report and Button –Created reported to support Handouts. Clients like NBWA wanted the ability to print only Handout portion of this report. Report will respect the Map include/exclude toggle on Fly-In UI.
