Converting Crystal Reports to PDF Format

You can convert any Crystal Report to a PDF. This can help when you need to e-mail a report to someone who does not have Crystal Reports. You must have Adobe Acrobat installed on your computer to export to PDF. You may download a free version of Adobe Reader here.

  1. Once you have produced the report and are viewing the Crystal Report, click on the export icon on the top left (it looks like an envelope with red arrow).

  2. After click on it, you should receive a pop-up box. At the top, it says File Format. From the drop down menu, select Adobe Acrobat (which is PDF).

  3. Name the file.

  4. Click OK.

  5. Next you will asked if you would like to open the exported file. Click Yes.

  6. It will open the file in Adobe Acrobat. Save the file.
