Deleting Subfiles

As with deleting Records, deleting Subfile entries can be dangerous. Be 100% certain that you
want to delete an entry before you proceed.

Step-by-Step…
1.  Select the entry you want to delete in the Subfile Edit screen:
•  Double-click on the entry in the list below the Subfile tab, or 
•  Once the Subfile Edit screen is open, select the entry from the
historical list in the Subfile Edit screen.

2.  Click the Delete   button on the Toolbar. 
 
ADVISORY: It is important that the appropriate Subfile edit screen is open before you
delete a Subfile entry. If you simply highlight an entry below the Subfile tab before
clicking on the Delete button, you may delete the entire record.

Also pay close attention to the delete warnings. When you attempt to
delete an entire Record, you should see a warning containing the name of
the Record:

When you attempt to delete only a Subfile entry, you should see a warning
that cites the name of the Subfile:
